If you live in Taiwan don't count how long you been and how far you know about Taiwan. No matter where you come from, but you could compare your own city in your motherland with cities in a small island called Taiwan.

Taiwan several years ago well known as 1 of 4 Asian Tigers Economy is a small island belong to Republic of China (ROC), a state in East Asia. Before I came to Taiwan, I thought Taiwan is a country, in fact it's not. Taiwan is an island which has for all practical purposes been independent since 1950, but which China regards as a rebel region that must be reunited with the mainland, by force if necessary. The residents of the state itself called their own island as FORMOSA. Formosa is Taiwan historical, especially prior to 1945, from Portugese; llha Formosa, it's mean ''Beautiful Island.'' Taiwan is a beautiful island. Taiwan very famous with its beautiful mountains, beaches and cities. The biggest city in Taiwan is Taipei as capital city, located in the north. Kaohsiung is noted with its harbor located in the south. Both Taipei and Kaohsiung play an important role in the country's developments. Many big buildings and substantial offices built in that city. Some significant businesses also running from both cities.

As a modern city, people run their business everyday almost 24 hours. Taiwan also has a strong emphasis on education and work. If you pay a special attention, you will see how busy the city in the morning due to the people go to work and schools. The crowded will start again in the afternoon, when the people returned home. I really impressed with such activities. It's no wonder if the country had a big progressed and changed just in a short time. Either Taiwanese or Chinese well-known very diligent, hard-working and studious. Sometimes I imagined if Indonesian people just like them, maybe Indonesia no need to send its citizen to go to work overseas. Night markets are places where you can grab some bites, buy some clothes, and souvenir also provided. Many visitors came from other countries, they came to Taiwan as tourists and some as students on purpose. Taiwanese themselves got a big influence from foreigners involved their costumes and traditions. The main language in Taiwan is Chinese Mandarin, nowadays known as a top language in the world besides English. A lot of poeple from other countries came to Taiwan just want to learn Chinese language. My friend from Italy and Brazil can speak Chinese very well, otherwise I just spoke a little Chinese.

Such other countries in Asia, Taiwan has rural town. In advance, I didn't know if in Taiwan also has so many villages, just like in Indonesia, but more contemporary. Taiwan also has a small population of aborigines who comprise about 2 percent of the total population. I stayed at suburbs place, so that many former and gardeners. Most people in my place like to do something in some traditional ways. I thought only Indonesian people washed their clothes in the rivers, but also in Taiwan some people did. I live in a township somewhere in Hsincu County, my place is more feasible as countryside. Partly people in my neighborhood are retired. They fulfill their days with many activities, such gardener and plants. Sometimes I got complementary vegetables from them. They said, it's more healthy to eat vegetables from their own crops. I thought so, and it's cheaper than we bought from supermarkets. Certain traditional manner is when they want to get clean water. Most people got the clean water directly from the mountain, me included, even though some still bought in the supermarkets. The water from the mountain is more fresh and clean. They installed faucet filter and water hose washed every day. While in the long term it does not rain, we took a long line to fetching the water. Everyone should not cut in line or jumping the queue, we must wait our turn. Sometimes in the summer, I took more than two hours to take the water because there are too many people want to take it. It's Okey, besides I enjoy the queuing, I also gathered with them. I like had a conversation with them due to improve my Chinese language skills.

This story happened when I was 17. One upon a time, when I almost graduate from senior high school, I met someone then he is known as my boyfriend. His name is Jack, he is in early twenty, just a little bit older than me. Jack is nice guys and he has melancholy faces with a slight mustache that everyone looks at him maybe will be bowled. He always looks tidy, not so fancy but everything he wore just fit him. Moreover, when he smiles you will see a dimple on his cheeks. He has a short Mohawk hair style and always looks shone like a diamond on it. One that very impressed me is his dark brown eyes, and top of all that he is a smarter student at his college.
I met him by accident at a bus station, while I am waiting for a bus to get me home. Deliberately he asked me about when the bus will be arrives. Simply I replied him that I have no idea, I have been waiting almost half an hour. At that moment, I didn't pay any attention to him, I thought he just like common guys I have met. When I turned my face toward him, my heart immediately trembling like thunderbolt was struck me up. Oh Ghost! Is he an angel? My mind began to wander everywhere.
From that day I couldn't stop to think of him, I always remember the way he talked to me. From the deepest of my heart, I sincerely hope I could meet him again. The days passed just like the river flows, and I still remember that day is Friday, I back home early from school because the teacher for my last lesson was away. Weakly I walked along the street, usual my way to reach the bus station, when suddenly someone called me from the opposite directions. My step totally standstill, I felt like the earth was stopped to rotate. I couldn't believe if he was in front of me, I flicker my eyes again and again to make sure if he is Jack, and true he is.
Directly I asked him, ''what are you looking for?,'' and he answered, ''I am looking for you.'' ''Are you serious?'' my tone rising up like I familiar to him. ''Yeah...true, I am not kidding,'' he answered me again. ''So, what can I help you, Jack?'' I mentioned. ''Nothing else, just it's worth to know more about you, I have seen you and I think you are a good girl,'' Jack replied. ''Don't make me blush, Jack!'' I said. ''No no.. I tell the truth,'' Jack scurry replied me. I have talked to him about an hour, when Jack asked me to go to out for dinner with him. I agree and I promised that I will there for him.
I reached home almost three o'clock, immediately I prepared my stuff for went to dinner with Jack. It's the first time I will have a dinner with someone and ohh... my Goodness, I am very nervous, even though I tried to cut out all my tenses. It's almost 7 o'clock, I have finished dress up when my phone rang, and I'm sure it's Jack give me a call, He is already in front of my house. Eagerly I went down stair and met him, ''are you ready?'' he asked me, ''yes, let us go,'' I yelled.
During our meal Jack talked a lot about his life, he just likes was found a container that he could put all his stuff in it. As a friend, I only patiently listened to him, and without any doubt he shared all about his life. Before he finished his story, my feelings melt and I sobbed. Oh my God, behind his sweet smile, he was infected by dangerous disease, he developed colon cancer. Furthermore he said that his girlfriend decided to split up with him because she didn't want to gather with someone who esophageal cancer.
Smoothly I put my hand on his shoulder and I whispered, ''don't worry Jack, I will be your good friend and I will always accompany you whenever you need me.''
Jack stared me, his dark brown eyes look very sad. Even though he tried to hide his tears, but I already saw it. ''Everything will be Ok Jack, just take it easy,'' I said for more. Thereafter we calm down for a moment, then I decided to get home. Jack drives me home and left me at my front yard, I saw Jack back to his car and getting in then he gone.
We have a relationship as a friend about five months, when Jack told me about his feeling. He completely fell in love with me, and I also couldn't help myself to didn't accept his love, sweet love from a ''Broken Angel.''

I realize that everything will change, and most obvious change is the age we are. Everybody will add their age in every single second, in a day by day, year by year everyone getting older. Not about the number we count our age, but in the number your age, what was you earn. If we know how the miracle of life came over us, maybe you will make double think to waste your time to do something useless. Begin with a person we're known as our mother, and before she is married, she was alone. In time she gets married and we're called she's couple Dady, he is our father as well. Everything on earth is made for couples; men and women, day and night, the sun and the moon, whatever, have you think about that? When a man and a woman getting married, beside they want to gain a better life but also they need to continue their generation, so why they decided to have a baby then. The baby itself will grow up and upon one time they also spawned the next baby and it will continue till the end of the world. A woman will produce eggs or usually called as ovum, and a man produces sperm, as in general when a couple has intercourse, the sperm will fertilize the egg during ejaculation. When the egg fertilized by the sperm, in a short time it will become a fetus, the fetus itself will continue to grow up and become an embryo. The embryo continues to grow in both weight and length into a baby and ready to birth. The women who have a baby inside referred she was pregnant, I thought everyone knows that, and when she had given birth that mean the baby was born, there seems the life is begun. Actually our life is starting when we're life inside our mother's womb, but it's not a real life like we're life right now. Our mother feed us with part food she had eaten, so why when a woman has a pregnancy, she needs to get more eat, because not only her who needs to supply her body but also the baby inside. Think about how were our mother struggle lots to keep us from we're as fetus till we could walk by ourselves on earth, it's worth it to grateful to our mother. As we know, in fact life is worth but it's damn too short!!
~The illusion is that we spiral upward into the light. In true reality; love permeates our entire being; wherever we may appear to be. We merely have to become awakened to this miracle within us~
''I love you,'' I think everybody knows what does it mean. You can easily tell about your feeling to someone else who have impressed you, but could you as easy as pie to take care of your feeling then? I didn't know why many people just like spitting when they are telling their feeling especially about love, and as a result lots people become their spittoon (become their loved one just for a moment). Sometime I wonder, maybe theirs feeling came over just because they got instantly fascinated. I saw young couples, old couples even they're under age couples in my place. Guess what? I felt jealous when I saw them, because I have no one. Not entirely I didn't have any relationship with someone, of course I did. The difference is they live together and I did not. As time goes by I've heard many couples broken down, round off their relationship even they've built it many many years. The reason is because theirs couple made a little bit mistakes, but they so easily made a decision to give up their relationship. I thought it's not a right choice to end a relationship without sufficient reasons. They are just following what their heart told them, even it's worst. To have a true love in this life is really not easy, everybody could easier make a relationship and also so easy to end it. This is live in life and love always get involved. Nobody didn't have any relationship with someone else in this world, except they're not normal. On the other hand, when I saw a very old couple and they still maintain their relation, I just wonder and proud of them. Seldom couples could prevent their relation for lifetimes. Back to when I saw a fragile couple, they might struggle to maintain their relation, if they want to gain a happiness. I've heard when people fell in love, at the first time most of them always said ''I will always love you,'' or ''I love you forever.'' That's words are familiar and I often heard. Thereafter, when they already earned what they want, drastically they will change their attitude. At the first month or first year maybe they will so nice, understanding and graceful. However when the relationship is made longer, they could easier getting angry, impatient and always blame us. So, did you still happy when someone said such damn stupid love to you? Many Chinese did not say ''I love you,'' to their partner, especially old fashion. The young couple maybe did it just because they got a lot influence from westerners. Sometime maybe you will raise your eyebrows, and think about how can a couple live together without mentioned their love. Don't get confused with how did they do, it's true even I saw. In fact they didn't mention love but they will show how they love their partner on their way. Everybody has their own way to show their partner how they love them, and in our real life we couldn't escape from something called ''Live and Love.''

As a normal person, I like to go to everywhere as far as I could, and wonder with everything new I saw. Maybe now I have no change yet to travel around the world, but I believe that I will do it someday. I didn't think so if people didn't like to travel, I saw many and lots people did. They will enjoy at every step they had. Every year thousands people from other countries came to my place, and I saw no one of them not satisfied. It's mean how wonderful a journey itself.
I knew some of them didn't like to travel, but it's just a small number, according to the tourist data report in my country, every year increase at every term. I saw many changes in place which known as tourist spot locations, the government paid a special attention for that. Last week I visited Taipei City, and seems the city is already different from two months ago when I went to visit it. I live in Hsincu so that needs more than an hour to go to Taipei. Whatever I rare to go to there, if I didn't have a specific event that I want to attend, I didn't like to waste my time instead to go to somewhere without a reason. The usual place that I have visited is only around my city, I almost visited every city corner, especially I like to visit a place with a special its culture. As a foreign in a modern city like Taiwan, I always wonder about everything in here. I thought not only me getting such this feeling, everyone has the same senses, it's humans basics characteristic. The people going to follow what their heart told them, as I did, and it's normal. Sometimes I got very upset when I met someone who pretend they didn't like to travel just because they haven't an opportunity yet. Commonly they will say, ''every place is just about the same from one to another,'' yeah it's correct, but depend on how we enjoy the place so that we could get different senses. When my heart felt so lonely and my mind just needs to be alone, I prefer to go the Riverside Park nearby. Soon I got my interest back after I spent a moment sitting on the green grass or just listen to the birds singing. Maybe things will be happen if I could go to other countries's Riverside Park, I really hope. From here, I could make a conclusion that how the place will give me many influences. People who traveled a lot will have a broad wide knowledge compared with the people who didn't go anywhere. For me, travelling is a very interesting activity!
